Shields is currently looking for dependable, motivated professionals to join our Armored division in two full-time roles: Armored Car Crew Leader and Armored Truck Driver.
Armored Car Crew Leader with a Permit to Carry
As an Armored Car Crew Leader, you’ll take responsibility for the safe transportation of currency, coins, and other valuables between Shields Business Solutions’ clients and their destinations. You’ll drive designated routes, communicate with dispatch, and help ensure every delivery and pickup is handled safely, professionally, and efficiently. The role also keeps you moving, with loading and unloading of bags weighing up to 50 pounds.
Armored Car Crew Leaders receive:
- Starting pay of $21 per hour, with potential for overtime
- $4,000 sign-on bonus
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance

- Paid holidays and company-issued uniforms, including bullet-resistant vests
- Paid training and permit fees

The position requires a valid driver’s license and good driving record, the ability to meet Department of Transportation requirements, and the ability to obtain the required firearms licensing and permits. Crew Leaders must also be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
Armored Truck Driver
As an Armored Truck Driver, you’ll play a critical role in safely transporting currency, coins, and other valuables between Shields’ clients and their destinations. You’ll follow designated routes, stay in communication with the dispatch team, and make sure each delivery and pickup is completed safely and efficiently. The job keeps you active, too, with loading and unloading bags of coins and other cargo weighing up to 50 pounds.
Armored Truck Drivers receive:
- Starting pay of $19 per hour, with opportunities for overtime
- $4,000 sign-on bonus
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) plan, life insurance, and paid time off
- Paid holidays and company-issued uniforms, including bullet-resistant vests
- Paid training and permit fees

Candidates must be at least 21, have a high school diploma or equivalent, hold a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, meet Department of Transportation requirements, and be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
